ENDODONTICS PRACTICE is hiring for a hard-working, dedicated positive team member in CONYERS & SNELLVILLE, GA! We are in search of a talented Dental Assistant that exhibits quality service, commitment, accountability, punctuality, a willingness to learn, and excellence. Qualified candidates should possess the right attitude, mindset, and work ethic to maintain a timely schedule, warmly greets patients, ensure patient comfort and confidence in the services provided. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Following infection control protocols - Must be able to communicate effectively with the doctor, teammates, and patients regularly, proactively, and in a professional, and positive manner - Prepares operatories with sterilized instruments and materials - Welcomes patient with comfort to the operatory and prepares draping - Liaison to patient and doctor - Reacts to patient’s needs and provides patient comfort - Must be coachable, detailed- oriented and able to perform duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: - Dental Assistant diploma/certification from an accredited program. - One year of experience in a dental practice; equivalent education and/or experience will be considered - Knowledge of dentistry, particularly tooth numbers, and instruments - Competency in administering dental x- rays and sterilization techniques - Working experience with electronic dental record procedures - Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse range of individuals; customer service skills to ensure positive patient courtesy - Technical skills and proficiency with dental, scheduling, office, and other software - Dexterity including the ability to handle instruments effectively with both hands EXCEPTIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Problem-solving skills; good judgment; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision. The ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability.
