Job description One doctor office in need of a qualified and experienced front office receptionist. It is important that you comfortable presenting treatment plans and doing insurance verification, answering the phone and making appointments. Also comfortable setting up payment arrangements. The office uses Dentrix software Health insurance, Vacation, Sick time, retirement contribution Summary As a Dental Receptionist, you will be essential in managing the front desk operations and providing outstanding patient service in a dental office setting. Your core skills in will enable you to efficiently handle patient records, appointments, and inquiries. Your relevant skills in customer service and multi-line phone systems will enhance patient interactions, making you a vital part of our dental team. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Manage appointment scheduling and patient records with accuracy and confidentiality. Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries regarding services and insurance. Maintain organized filing systems for dental records and documentation. Process patient payments and manage medical collections as needed. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. Collaborate with dental staff to streamline office operations and enhance patient service. Qualifications Proven experience in a dental office setting as a receptionist Strong administrative and clerical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Familiarity with dental terminology Excellent patient service and communication skills, with the ability to manage multi-line phone systems Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and dental records management Presentation skills to effectively interact with patients and staff Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $46,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Weekends as needed Experience: Management: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
