Description

Our boutique-style, private dental practice in Bellaire is looking for a highly organized, customer-focused professional with at least 3 years of experience in coordinating treatment plans and managing insurance processes. As the Dental Treatment and Insurance Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of treatment planning, insurance verification, and patient communication. You’ll be at the heart of our practice, interacting with patients, doctors, and the dental team to ensure a smooth and positive experience. This is a full-time position where you will often be the first and last point of contact for our patients, making excellent customer service essential. Key Responsibilities: Greet patients both in person and over the phone with exceptional service Present and explain treatment plans and financial options to patients Communicate treatment plan details with the doctor and team to ensure accuracy and understanding Verify and submit dental insurance claims with all necessary attachments Follow up on outstanding insurance claims and manage patient and insurance accounts receivable (AR) Schedule patient appointments efficiently, ensuring proper treatment coordination and patient satisfaction Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track practice performance and treatment progress Develop and maintain effective communication with patients regarding treatment updates, insurance information, and financial details Provide leadership and support to the team, helping to streamline practice operations Assist with patient communication and staffing needs as required Ensure all aspects of dental administration are handled efficiently Proficiency with Dentrix and RevenueWell required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in dental treatment coordination and insurance management Proven track record in managing insurance claims and treatment plans Strong organizational and multitasking skills Exceptional communication and customer service skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Experience with Dentrix and RevenueWell is essential Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment planning, and insurance policies A positive, professional demeanor with a collaborative team approach Office Hours: Monday & Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Thursday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience and attitude Comprehensive benefits package If you are a highly organized, patient-focused dental professional with experience in treatment planning and insurance coordination, we’d love to hear from you!
