Description

We are seeking a friendly and committed dental assistant to join our awesome team! This position would primarily include assisting the hygiene department. No experience required! We will train our rising star! Responsibilities would include: - Assisting the hygienist, dentist, and coronal polishing assistant during procedures and exams. - Turning and preparing treatment rooms. - Taking panoramic radiographs, chairside radiographs, cone beam radiographs, and 3D intraoral images. - Inputting digital records, updating patient history, concerns, and vitals. - Maintaining inventory of dental supplies, equipment, and patient lab orders. - Establishing rapport with and educating patients on oral health and hygiene. - Collaborating with fellow team members to create and maintain a healthy work culture and environment. - Assisting the front office with the phone calls as the third in line when possible. Requirements would include: - Bilingual in English/Spanish is required due to our large Spanish-speaking demographic. - Knowledge of dental terminology, oral anatomy, procedures, safety, and aseptic techniques. - Previous experience as a dental assistant not required; office is willing to train candidates. - Proficiency in computer technology, digital medical record keeping, and documentation. - Strong communication skills to be able to navigate patient and staff interactions. - Ability to work well and maintain excellent work ethics and procedures under stress. Potential to earn bonus after probation period according to performance.
