Our general dentistry practice, with a focus on cosmetic, implant, and sedation dentistry, is looking for a skilled and personable Chairside Dental Assistant. This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of dental experience who is passionate about providing top-tier patient care and supporting advanced dental procedures in a modern, patient-centered environment. You'll work closely with our dental team to deliver high-quality, comfortable experiences for our patients, especially those undergoing aesthetic or surgical treatments. Skills required: -Assist the dentist during general, cosmetic, implant, and sedation procedures -Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and materials, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols -Comfort and guide patients before, during, and after procedures, especially those receiving sedation -Take cone beam, digital radiographs and intraoral images -Maintain accurate patient records and charting, including medical histories and treatment notes -Provide post-operative care instructions and educate patients on oral health, procedure aftercare, and cosmetic maintenance -Support implant surgeries by organizing surgical kits, assisting with sterile fields, and documenting implant placement -Monitor and document vital signs during sedation cases (as permitted by state regulations) -Track inventory, stock supplies, and maintain operatory cleanliness and organization -Occasionally support front desk with patient scheduling and follow-up calls
