We are looking to add a hygienist to our growing team at East Franklin Dentistry. We are a locally owned and operated private practice that accepts PPO insurances (no HMOs or TennCare). Our office operates Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 5PM and Friday 8AM-12PM (1 hour lunch from 12-1PM); We would prefer a full time hygienist but are open to interviewing those seeking a part time role as well. Responsibilities: - 90 minutes new patient exams, 60 minute recall appointments - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Take digital x-rays with NOMAD technology as well intraoral photographs - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and taking blood pressure readings - Update and maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Collaborate with the dental office team to ensure efficient and effective patient care Skills: - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues - Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation and patient assessment - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficient in medical record keeping and documentation - Knowledge of medical imaging techniques for dental diagnostics
