Job description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our beautiful dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, patient management, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Some experience is required. Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Duties: Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, adhering to strict infection control protocols. Take and record vital signs, ensuring accurate medical records for each patient. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage patient flow and assist with scheduling appointments. Maintain an organized and clean work environment to promote patient safety and comfort. Support various dental specialties including general dentistry, pediatrics, prosthodontics, and more as needed. Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with patients and team members. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control practices is essential. Knowledge of medical records management and general dentistry principles is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are necessary for maintaining an efficient workflow.
