Pay Range $23-28 per hour
*Dental Assistant Duties
*Set up operatories for treatment
*Review patient background and medical history to properly prepare for each patient
*Communicate to each patient about their procedure, prepare consents and give excellent post-op instructions and or instructions for night guards, retainers and dental products
*Organize, sanitize, and coordinate restocking of dental equipment and supplies
*Making temporary crowns and the ability to pack cord
*Using digital scanner for cases
*Taking x-rays using mobile device or standard x-ray equipment
*Ensure proper clinical notes are recorded by the doctor in patient chart
*Disinfect treatment rooms according to OSHA regulations
*Track and check in lab cases
*Required skills and qualifications
*Outstanding customer service and communication skills
*Experience with Open Dental Software is a plus
*Dental Assistant certification
*Certification in using X-ray technology and related equipment

This position will include general front desk tasks such as check-in and check-out, obtaining info from referring offices, posting payments, scheduling, etc. This position will also handle insurance verification, filing, and following up on dental claims. Our office is fast-paced so we need someone who can multi-task and keep a positive upbeat attitude while doing it!
We prefer someone who is familiar with Dentrix and Dexis. We do use outside services for appointment confirmations and review requests but those systems are easy to teach.

Your Responsibilities
You will ensure excellent patient service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the Dentist's shoulders. Welcoming patients to the dental office

A high school diploma
A certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (if required by law)
