We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant and/or EFDA to join our cutting-edge dental practice, Nashville Dentistry Co. We are a private practice, non corporate founded by Dr. Patel in 2017.
Full time position: Monday-Thursday
Hours: 6:30 am - 4 pm / every other Tuesday till 7 pm
Salary: starting at $24-open for discussion based on experience
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. You would be joining a dynamic teach of 2 EFDAs. We are looking to add a third DA/EFDA. Opportunity available to become an EFDA and be paid during that time.
This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Our state-of-the-art facility utilizes the latest technologies, including but not limited to CEREC, intraoral scanners, digital xrays (CBCT), and 3D printers (SprintRay).
We are family, general practice that offers a wide array of procedures: same-day crowns, implant placement, Botox, clear aligners, and sleep appliances to name a few.
Training will be provided for all applicants and opportunity to learn if unfamiliar with procedures. Looking for an individual ready to learn in a team-oriented environment
Responsibilities -
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
Maintain accurate dental records and patient information using Oryx dental software
Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to aseptic techniques.
Utilize CEREC for same day crowns
Monitor patients' vital signs when necessary, ensuring their comfort throughout the visit.
Skills
Proficiency in using dental software
Experience with taking X-rays and understanding radiographic safety measures.
Ability to handle medical records efficiently while ensuring patient confidentiality.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members.
Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
