Registered Dental Hygienist – Cedar Park Pediatric Dentistry
Cedar Park Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team in delivering exceptional pediatric dental care. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hygienist who is passionate about creating a comfortable, educational, and supportive experience for our young patients while working closely with our dentist.
As part of our all-inclusive clinical team, you'll provide specialized care in a fun, fast-paced environment. Our office has proudly served the community for over 30 years, and we’re looking for an outgoing, self-motivated hygienist who loves working with children and can communicate effectively with both patients and their parents.
Position Details:
* Full-time: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:45 PM
Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional dental hygiene care and patient education
* Take radiographs as needed
* Follow strict infection control procedures
* Work with children, including patients with special healthcare needs, particularly those with cognitive and developmental challenges
* Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and caregivers
* Collaborate with the team to ensure a positive experience for all patients
Requirements:
* State licensure and certification in dental hygiene
* CPR certification and radiography/x-ray certification (as per state guidelines)
* Experience working with special healthcare needs patients is a plus
* Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
* A team player with a positive, collaborative attitude
* Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
* Compliance with state dental practice requirements (X-ray, OSHA, CE training)
* Familiarity with HIPAA and HITECH Act requirements

Qualifications:
* Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
* Experience in pediatric dentistry preferred

Schedule (days/hours): 3 days week 8a - 5p Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional patient care and create a welcoming environment for all patients in alignment with our G3 model (Greeting, Guiding, Gratitude)
Promote a Safe Smile Space (S3) for everyone, where safety and inclusion are paramount
Provide dental prophylaxis and periodontal treatments
Screen patients’ periodontal health
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
Perform oral cancer screenings
Screen for individual needs including malocclusion and educate patients about potential impacts
Continually develop leadership capabilities and business acumen through continued learning opportunities provided both externally and by Smile Brands
Qualifications:
Either an active state hygiene license or eligibility to become licensed (new grads are welcome!)
A current CPR certification
Compensation: $50 -$60 per hour plus $5,000 sign on bonus! About:
