Duties
- Perform thorough periodontal cleanings and assessments for patients, utilizing appropriate techniques and tools.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Review documentation and medical histories to identify potential issues or concerns.
- Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
- Screen patients for oral diseases and conditions.
- Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
- Assist the dentist with patient exams and treatments.
- Sterilize and maintain dental equipment and instruments
- Utilize Dentrix and Dexis software for patient management and record-keeping.
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure a positive experience
License/Certification:
Registered Dental Hygienist License
Anesthesia License (Preferred)
