*Qualifications: *
? State licensure and certification in dental hygiene ( Or about to take Board certification/Applying for license)
? CPR Certification- Radiography/x-ray certification per state guidelines
? Well versed in dental terminology and procedures
? Maintains a positive, collaborative, and supportive disposition with team and patients
? Maintain compliance with state dental practice requirements (i.e., X-ray requirements, OSHA, and CE training).
? Understands and complies with HIPAA and HITECH Act of 2009

Highlights of Dental Assistant Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service for the patient, demonstrating excellent chairside manner
Assist the doctor with all dental procedures
Take radiographs of patients using standard digital dental radiographic equipment
Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctors' schedule and patient flow; ensure limited to no patient wait time; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, and prepared
Clean and set up treatment rooms
Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment
Order and organize dental supplies
This is a full-time Dental Assistant position with a schedule of : Monday- Friday 7:50- 5:00.
