*What You'll Do:*
In this role, you'll join a dedicated team committed to providing patients with optimal treatment, including essential procedures like SRP, alongside adjunctive aids when needed, all while addressing individual patient concerns. Your responsibilities will extend to educating and counseling patients on dental health, plaque control, oral hygiene, and nutrition. A typical day for our hygienists involves caring for 8-9 patients a day, four to five days a week.

- A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license.

Job Duties
• Examine teeth, gums, and related tissues using dental instruments, radiographs, and other diagnostic instruments.
• Provide general dentistry procedures.
• Examine, diagnose, and treat various dental diseases.
• Complete molar endo and/or pulpal debridements.
• Provide fixed and removable prosthetic procedures.
• Treat teeth for extraction and/or surgical removal.
• Prescribe medications.
• Enter data into workload data reporting system.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists when necessary,
• Conduct oral health, tobacco cessation, and diet counseling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
• Graduate of an ADA-accredited dental school approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA) with either a DDS or DMD.
• Current state licensure to practice dentistry.
• Shall have been employed for at least one (1) year in the last (2) years on a full-time basis in the practice of dentistry or be in a recent (1-year) graduate of an accredited, post-graduate dentistry training program. One year experience in the last two years prior to contract execution, as a dentist.
• Must obtain current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration number.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Current immunizations, required.
