Responsibilities:
1. Chairside Assistance:
* Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are available.
* Assist the dentist during dental procedures, anticipating their needs and providing the required tools and equipment.
* Provide chairside support, such as suctioning, passing instruments, and holding the dental dam.
* Assist doctors with four handed dentistry as needed.
* Complete patient charting in partnership with doctors.
2. Patient Care and Support:
* Greet and prepare patients for their dental appointments, ensuring they feel at ease and comfortable.
* Explain dental procedures to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
* Assist patients in taking x-rays and other diagnostic images as directed by the dentist.

* Collaborate with the front desk staff to manage patient flow and ensure efficient daily operations.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program is preferred.
* Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a General Dentistry practice.
* Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and dental terminology.
* Familiarity with dental software and digital radiography systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and dental team members.
