COMPETITIVE WAGE
$20.00-26.00 hourly plus annual increases.

Full-Time
Monday/Tuesday/Thursday: 7:30am-5:00pm, Wednesday: 7:00am-5:00pm, Friday: Off, and one Saturday a month: 7:00am-12:00pm
Part-Time
Monday-Thursday: 11:30am-4:30pm, Friday: Off, and one Saturday a month: 7:00am-12:00pm
Travel to our Sturtevant clinic on Tuesdays is required (10155 Washington Ave, Sturtevant, WI 53177)
Job Responsibilities
Assist provider throughout exam including complex treatment, surgery, & all operatory-related care
Explain treatment procedures; seek clarification and understanding from patient
Review and assist patient in updating iPad medical history
Assist provider with patient education
Take patient blood pressure, X-rays and radiographs
Monitor oxygen levels when nitrous or IV is administered
Make impressions and fabricate crowns as instructed
Prepare and record clinical notes, charting and patient record
Prepare operatory for patient exam; sterilize instruments and disinfect operatory
Order dental supplies
Provide coverage for Dental Services Representatives to account for absences or high-volume periods
Job Requirements
Previous Dental Assistant experience or completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge of state dental practices requirements, including X-ray proficiency and OSHA training strongly preferred
Effective interpersonal skills to maintain rapport with patients, dentists, and other staff members
Good customer service skills and ability to work as a team in fast-paced environment

* PPO/FFS Practice
* Current team - 1 Pediatric Dentist, 1-2 assistants per doctor, front office team, and hygiene team
*Qualifications:*
* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree accredited dental school
* Completion of a post-doctoral residency program for all specialists
* Current/Active license in good standing in this state (or eligible to obtain)
* Dedication to integrity and achieving the highest standards of ethical patient care.
