Treatment Coordinator Dental Front Office Signature Dentistry of MaconMacon, GA 31201We are searching for a Front Office Treatment Planner/Insurance Coordinator for our patient centered, private dental practice in Macon. We have a great team and provide the highest level of dental care to our patients. Ideal candidates must be EXPERIENCED and proficient with Dentrix and insurance. Must be excellent in scheduling productively, be patient focused, and a quick learner of our systems and practices.

• Able to create positive relationships with patients and enhance the cohesiveness of our team; knowing the critical nature a smile plays in all daily activities.
• Present treatment plans to patients, discuss insurance benefits, discuss payment options, send, receive, and discuss pre-authorizations, check-in and check-out patients, and collect out of pocket expenses at the time of service.
• Excellent interpersonal skills: able to effectively, and professionally – with proper grammar – communicate in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Possess the tools necessary to multi-task in a busy environment to ensure all front office functions are completed in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Able to ‘intentionally schedule’, per office systems, patient appointments and manage doctors’ and hygienists’ books.
• Confirmation of appointments; checking patients in and out, scheduling next visits, contacting patients by phone and in writing to schedule treatment needs.
• Referring patients to other practices for treatment.
• Proficient in basic computer programs (word, excel, etc.) along with proven ability to learn new software programs.
• Aptitude for precise documentation.
• Detail oriented: able to present treatment plans, fees and structure payment arrangements.
• Track payment plans, follow up with patients and handle delinquent accounts.
• Understanding of all aspects of dental insurance – from claims submission, analysis of EOBs, discussing dental insurance with patients, following up on claims, to corresponding with dental insurance carriers as needed.
• Processing of insurance payments, adjustments, patient refunds, and monitoring of accounts receivable.
• Motivated to be cross trained to assist all front office co-workers in the management of all administrative tasks.
• Be innovative, learning the priorities and existing protocols of our office, while seeking to present new ideas to present and help implement new procedures to increase office efficiency.
• Promotes cooperative working environment among staff members; understands the value of teamwork; shows enthusiasm and willingness to perform as necessary to help the practice function as a unit.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental practice front office.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Dentrix dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Thorough understanding of dental billing, coding, and insurance processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Familiarity with HIPPA and confidentiality protocols.
