Your day-to-day:
Full hour hygiene appointments.
Actively prepare for morning huddle and coordinate treatment recommendations with the Doctor and front desk.
Respond to patient questions and/or concerns, educate patients on conditions and treatment options and quality.
Polishing, Scaling and root planning, perio maintenance, Be able to recognize decay, periodontal disease, bone loss, fractures, broken teeth
Record and Communicate diagnostics and support doctor during treatment planning and discussion
Educating patients on practicing good oral hygiene, value of fluoride and cancer screenings
Responsible for hygiene recare system and goals.
Conduct patient assessments and chart medical documentation accurately
Provide positive patient handoffs to front office for scheduling.
Support the office and assisting team and perform other tasks as necessary.
Skills & Other Requirements
Valid NJ Hygiene RDH license to practice
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) cerification
Exceptional communication and multi-tasking skills
Experience with Dentrix is preferred
Anesthesia certification preferred
2 Saturdays/ month required. FT includes 1 evening/week
$45-60/ hour based on experience
