The ideal candidate will have preferably graduated from a 1 year dental assisting program and/or had at least 1 year of orthodontic clinical assisting experience. Experience is not required for the right candidate, a good attitude and willingness to learn is expected. Bilingual not required but preferred. Hourly pay based on experience. What you will Do: Establish a trusting rapport with patients, ensuring that each patient receives a great experience. Educate the patients on orthodontic care. Assist in patient care including assisting in placing and removing orthodontic appliances, also taking full records including panoramic, cephalometric, and 3-D scans. Maintain patient charts and transcribe the doctor notes accurately. Keep chairs stocked and organized as well as clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment. Knowledge of Invisalign is a plus.
