A Day in the Life
As a Pediatric Dental Assistant, you’ll be essential in delivering high-quality patient experiences in a fun, fast-paced environment. Daily responsibilities include:
• Arrive at 7:30 a.m. for a morning huddle and prepare to welcome patients.
• Escort patients and families, update medical history, take x-rays, and guide them through each step of their appointment.
• Keep accurate records, enter treatment plans and clinical notes, and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Ensure operatories are clean, stocked, and ready for each patient, and maintain cleanliness in all office areas.
• Support dentists and hygienists chairside, promoting same-day treatments and effective communication of pre/post-op instructions.
• Serve 50-70 patients daily with a team of 6-10, contributing to inventory management and enhancing patient care skills.
• Finish each day positively, looking forward to another productive day with the team!
