We are seeking a skilled, part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team on Mondays and Wednesdays. This position has the potential to grow to full-time. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and providing exceptional patient care in a dental clinic setting.
*Duties*
- Perform dental hygiene procedures following the dentist's guidance
- Conduct oral health screenings and assessments
- Take dental x-rays using medical imaging equipment
- Participate in recalls, sterile, and other activities adding to the production of the office during downtime
- Assist with four-handed dentistry techniques
- Maintain accurate patient medical records using Denticon or similar systems
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices
- Assist with general dentistry procedures as needed
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols
*Skills*
- Proficiency in medical imaging and dental clinic procedures
- Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with medical records management and practice management software, (Denticon preferred)
- Strong grasp of coding for billing purposes
