Description

Growing orthodontic practice is seeking a fun-loving, hardworking, orthodontic assistant. Individual must exhibit with a warm personality that displays a dedication towards patient care with an attention to detail, a persistent focus towards teamwork, and of course... having fun! The position is full time (4.5 days/week), very competitive compensation will depend on experience, and benefits are included ( i.e. health insurance, 6 paid holidays, accrued PTO, a retirement plan paid for by the employer, monthly bonuses based on production, paid CE, and uniform allowance, etc) Responsibilities · Establish a trusting rapport with patients, ensuring the highest level of patient customer service is given to all patients · Educate the patients on orthodontic care and treatment practices · Work chairside with patient care including assisting in placing and removing orthodontic appliances · Taking X-Rays, pictures, and intraoral digital scans · Maintain patients’ charts and transcribe the doctor notes accurately · Keep patient rooms stocked and organized as well as clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment · Be receptive to coaching and training from doctors to better develop skillset Qualifications · Knowledge of Orthodontics and associated treatment appliances and equipment used · Action-oriented and taking initiative, being adaptive and flexible in a changing environment · Understand and can effectively communicate techniques utilized in the Orthodontic field · Have excellent written and oral communication skills · Compassion and high level of service for our patients, parents, and staff · Integrity, always doing the right thing · Ability to handle confidential information and protect patient confidentiality · Dependable, reliable to be at work when scheduled · Attention to detail · Able to stay organized and follow instruction · Professional manner and appearance at all times · Computer skills: Microsoft office and Web Browser Employment Type Full-time
