Taking and Developing X-rays: In surgical procedures, x-rays may be necessary for planning and monitoring the progress of treatment. Surgical dental assistants may be responsible for taking and developing these x-rays as needed. Sterilization and Infection Control: Ensuring a sterile environment is crucial in surgical settings.
