Description

We are seeking an exemplary Dental Hygienist to join our periodontal practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality care to our patients and assist the dental team in delivering excellent oral health services. Overall Responsibilities: Periodontal Knowledge Understand thoroughly the periodontal disease classification system (diagnosis(es) and prognosis(es)) Know how to treat and guide patients during complex periodontal disease care Provide ideal scaling and root planing and periodontal maintenance care to optimize results Patient Education Educate patients on home health care techniques to optimize plaque control Provide a concise and thorough review of treatment findings with patients Patient Recall Understand past patient dental treatment in order to make an informed decision about future treatment and recall frequency Provide accurate assessment and treatment recommendations to the doctors Ensure radiographs are current; know how to take radiographs Treatment Documentation Ensure accurate charting and treatment notes Certifications - Skills Local Anesthesia Nitrous Oxide Instrument Sharpening Radiographs Eaglesoft Requirements Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program State licensure as a Dental Hygienist Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance standards Skilled in proper sterilization techniques and infection control Join our team and contribute to improving the oral health of our patients while working in a supportive and professional environment.
