Description We are a modern family focused dental office located in Denton for over 28 years. Our team is laid back and friendly. We strive to work together and not independently. We are a small office and a close-knit group of people that enjoy a lively work environment with frequent interaction with coworkers. We are looking to hire a self-motivated, outgoing, reliable dental assistant. You will be a major point of contact with our patient family. You will play an important role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring consistent and smooth operations within the office. Our office hours are Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Responsibilities for dental assisting: -Prepare patient for treatment and take vitals -Breaking down and setting up rooms -Assist dentist during dental treatment -Taking X-rays and intraoral photos -Taking alginate Impressions -Taking digital (CEREC) impressions -pouring, printing, and trimming models -Charting and maintaining records -Ortho record taking and wire changes -Clean and sterilize dental instruments -Stocking rooms -Tracking lab cases -Maintain dental equipment and instruments -Consent forms -Clean operatories -Keeping track of inventory -Lab work -Patient education -Laundry -Helping out with others in the office during down time Requirements: -Self-manager; can complete tasks independently without supervision -Familiarity with dental software -Has integrity and good work ethic -Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred -Strong communication skills -Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities -Attention to detail and accuracy -Friendly and professional demeanor
