Description

Tatiana Ostanina DDS LTD , a general dentist practice in River Forest, IL is hiring a Registered Dental Hygienist(s) for a Full-time position. We are looking for a personable and caring professional who has high quality standards , a gentle touch and a focus on patient education. * Valid RDH and local anesthetic licenses are required. Clinical Hours: * The team members are expected to arrive 30 min prior to clinical hours and stay up to 30 min after the last patient has departed to finish daily tasks, etc. Monday 10:00 am - 6 :00 pm Tuesday 9 :00 am - 5 :00 pm Wednesday 11:00 am - 7 :00 pm Thursday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Fridays- OFF One Saturday a month 9:00 am - 3 :00 pm Time allocated to patient's care: New Patient - 90 min Established patient - 60 min Scaling and Root planing- 40-120 min depending on the complexity Kids 30-50 min depending on age Duties: - Review and update patients medical records using Dentrix system -Perform assessments of periodontal condition -Perform routine dental prophylactic cleaning, scaling and root planing procedures and deliver local antimicrobial medication ( i.e., Arestin) - Deliver local anesthetic - Apply Fluoride varnish - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques - Take dental x-rays - Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control - Prepare and break down the room between patients - Order hygiene supplies as needed Experience: We prefer candidates with some experience, but new graduates are welcome! Required Skills: - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations - Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure infection control - Proficiency in periodontal assessments and dental hygiene services - Delivery of Local anesthetic Nice-to-Have Skills: - Background in general dentistry practices - Previous work in a dental clinic environment - Familiarity with Dentrix software Compensation will depend on experience and skills and will be discussed in person. Benefits: PLAW ( per State guidance) -40 h/year Vacation ( edibility per office Policy)- 40-80 h /year Health Insurance ( PPO) : Company contributes 70% toward a premium; Employees contribute 30%. ( less than $100/per paycheck) Employees contribute PRE-TAX from each paycheck. HSA Contributions are made by employees only. The Company pays the mandatory maintenance fees.
