Full-Time Dental Assistant (Fast-Paced Dental Office) Location: Lewis Dental Group, PLLC, Murfreesboro, TN. Position Overview: We are looking for a full-time Dental Assistant who is enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to contribute to our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and more. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols. Take dental X-rays, ensuring accurate and high-quality images. Prepare treatment rooms and materials for procedures. Provide chairside support to patients, including explaining procedures and addressing concerns. Maintain patient records and update information as necessary. Schedule patient appointments and manage the front desk as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Qualifications: Dental Assistant certification (preferred) or relevant experience in a dental assisting role. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment. Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and using dental software. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional patient care. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
