Description

Traveling Endodontic Assistant | Full Time | Lisle, Oak Forest, Beverly, Bridgeport, and Naperville Our strong team is growing as we are adding an Endodontist to our practices, and we are seeking to add a highly organized and personable Traveling Endodontic Assistant to travel along with our new DDS. This candidate will provide support to the offices and assist the professional dental staff with treatment in providing quality service to those that we serve. The position will require travel between Lisle, Oak Forest, Beverly, Bridgeport, and Naperville Job Requirements: -The dental assistant is the right hand of the doctor taking care of the needs of our patients -Candidate will efficiently provide clinical instrumentation and sterilization, so the doctor is able to care for each patient. -Dental assistant will provide a warm, calm environment welcoming otherwise anxious patients into a clean and safe operatory. -Candidate will set the tone for the appointment by engaging in purposeful conversations that identify the patient’s emotional and clinical needs -In addition, the assistant is required to obtain all pertinent information through effective charting, proper set up and break down of the operatory, efficiently take diagnostic digital x - rays, and have a proficient understanding of equipment and procedure flow. -Lastly, candidate is required to have a strong knowledge and ability to comply with OSHA, CDC and HIPAA guidelines Job Duties: -Assisting the endodontist during procedures such as root canal therapy, apicoectomy, and other endodontic treatments -Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment for procedures -Taking and developing dental x-rays as directed by the endodontist -Providing patient care and comfort during procedures, including explaining treatments and answering patient questions -Maintaining accurate patient records and treatment notes -Educating patients on post-treatment care instructions and oral hygiene practices -Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the endodontic treatment area -Following infection control protocols and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff -Assisting with other duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the endodontic practice Hours: Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm Full time employees receive access to our comprehensive medical benefits, 401k and more
