We’re not looking for someone who just wants to get their foot in the door! There are some aspects that may not be rainbows and butterflies: You must have 4+ years of experience to get $20/hour You will have to drive to our other office in Houston sometimes. The pay is the same as most other dental clinics (An RDA with no experience will start at $16. 10 years+ could make $24 or more an hour) You cannot just be looking for a J-O-B. If you expect to leave things undone because 5 o'clock rolls around, then don't apply. If you like to give excuses, then this is not the place for you. Must be willing to perform all the normal stuff (clinical procedures such as taking digital photographs and x-rays, fabricate essix retainers, fit bands, change arch wires, perform indirect and direct bonding, keep accurate inventory, and effectively navigate computer software.) Adherence to all safety and infection control rules is required. Made it this far? Great! Let’s be sure you’ve got the following: Needs to be excited to learn new processes such as iTero scanning, lingual brackets and 3D printing No seriously, we use the computer for everything. We are digital and you MUST want to work in software for labwork, notes, during your clinical appointments to reference information. You need to love your Apple Computer. You need to be the type person who gets joy out of getting things done. Every day, you will hit Todoist for your digital checklist - and lots of them. Fun stuff. Important stuff. Necessary stuff. Administrative and organizational tasks (yes, even as a clinical assistant) that take detail. Drill those details down. You talk to patients ALL DAY LONG - Answer phones and communicate with patients on HIPAA compliant text and email. (yes, even as a clinical assistant) Strong communication skills, especially with patient - both verbal and written Your job is to help Dr. Cooper in any way you can. And to have fun at work (who wants a job that isn’t fun?!?). Our office is somewhat laid-back, but we do expect professionalism and punctuality and delivering on our promises. In addition to being a detailed person, you must follow systems and processes.
