Description

Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Hygienist for an opportunity to join our dedicated team. We are a patient-centered private dental practice with a blend of PPO and fee-for-service plans, dedicated to delivering exceptional care and building strong relationships with our patients. Our guiding principle is simple: “The best interest of the patient is our top priority.” As a provider-owned practice with 16 years of service in the community, we take pride in our commitment to quality. We offer 60-minute prophylaxis and 90-minute appointments for two-quadrant SRP, ensuring that every patient receives the attention they deserve—no accelerated hygiene here. Duties • Valid state dental hygiene license. • Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program. • Laser certification • Proficiency in using dental software systems (Dentrix). • Knowledge of medical imaging systems for capturing dental x-rays. • Familiarity with aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment. • Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients. • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately maintain patient records. Responsibilities • Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, applying fluoride treatments, and taking dental x-rays. • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for dental care. • Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories as necessary. • Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment. • Use dental software systems (Dentrix) to schedule appointments, record treatment plans, and manage patient information. • Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality. • Stay up-to-date with new techniques and technologies in dental hygiene through continuing education. We are looking for someone who fits well with our team and we are excited to meet you!
