Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Bilingual Receptionist / Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations. This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse clientele. The Bilingual Receptionist / Dental Assistant will assist in maintaining a welcoming environment, ensuring that all administrative tasks are handled efficiently. Responsibilities • Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing them with necessary information and assistance. • Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for the dental practice. • Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries in both English and Spanish. • Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. • Assist dental staff with administrative tasks as needed, including managing patient flow. • Process patient intake forms and verify insurance information. • Support dental procedures by preparing necessary materials and equipment when required. • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area. Skills • Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required for effective communication. • Knowledge of dental assisting practices, including X-Ray procedures, four-handed dentistry, and aseptic techniques. • Familiarity with pediatric dentistry and endodontics is a plus. • Ability to take vital signs and understand basic medical coding principles. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently. • Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and staff alike. • Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained.
