FUNCTIONS: Chart procedures to include patient conditions, medical and dental histories, treatment procedures, patient comments, and doctor’s exam notes. Perform treatment procedures to include prophylaxes, scaling, and fluoride applications. Oversee non-surgical perio programs Take radiographs Manage the preventive maintenance program Reinforce recommendations for treatment Correlate the office recare system with the Front Desk Staff Maintain inventory control in the hygiene rooms Share maintenance duties as required Sterilizes instruments Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build a comfortable and approachable relationship with patients ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ LEADERSHIP TASKS: Utilize expertise in written and verbal communications to lead multiple office locations Effectively communicate to all levels of management including: Doctors, Office Managers, and Team Members, Respond quickly, fairly, and professionally to team questions, concerns, and problems Demonstrate exceptional human relation skills Keep current on industry trends Demonstrate our Vision and Values and coach others to do the same Qualifications: BS Dental Hygiene with 1 year of industry experience preferred Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills High level of maturity, personal initiative, and sound judgment Outstanding relationship-building, interpersonal and leadership skills
