HIRING FOR DENTAL FRONT DESK/ADMINISTRATIVE, ALSO HIRING FOR RDA, EFDA AND RDH See below for job descriptions for each! *Front Desk Job Description Looking for an energetic, team-oriented, kid-loving pediatric dental front office person. We want someone who is excited to be a part of something new and exciting and wants to grow with the team and practice. Only serious inquiries please and thank you. Responsibilities: Greet patients with a friendly smile and check them in. Schedule patient treatment appointments; reschedule patients that miss their appointment and call patients that have not completed treatment. Answer the phone and schedule patients or triage calls. Manage the Doctor and hygiene schedules to achieve utilization goals through efficient use of appointment time. Send and check consent forms and paperwork. Assistant parents with this. Effectively communicate and develop a strong working relationship with the Doctor and promote teamwork through cooperative and professional behaviors. Check patients in and out. Answer and return incoming calls from patients. Respond to voicemails and text messages. Adhere to confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPAA laws and guidelines with regards to patient’s records. Follow and demonstrate a commitment to the Twice Pediatric Dentistry policies, professional expectations, and Service Excellence Standards. Other duties may be assigned Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Work Location: In person *RDA Job Description: We are looking for a competent dental assistant who has preferably has pediatric dental experience. Most importantly wants to and enjoys working with children. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible. Responsibilities Welcome customers in the dental office Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Skills Proven experience as dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations coronal polishing - required certified to place sealant - not required but preferred Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Parental leave Partner benefits Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred) X-Ray Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
