The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Job Description: Assist dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment. Take digital dental radiographs. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction. Perform administrative tasks such as managing inventory of dental supplies. Skills Strong knowledge of four-handed dentistry Radiography: Taking and processing dental x-rays, including bitewing, periapical, and panorex, and CBCT scans Placement and Removal of Temporary Restorations: Assisting in the placement and removal of temporary fillings or crowns. Dental Impressions: Taking impressions for crowns, bridges, dentures, and other dental prosthetics with traditional impression material and scanning Fabrication of Temporary Crowns: Creating and placing temporary crowns for patients who need permanent crowns made. Strong knowledge of iTero scanning for crowns bridges, occlusal guards, Invisalign, etc. Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Experience in sedation dentistry and invisalign system is a plus. Familiar with Open Dental software Familiar with Dexis CBCT and panorexs Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate medical documentation. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
