Smiles for Kids Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a full time dental assistant with chair side operative assisting experience as well as hygiene team assisting. In our pediatric dental practice, our employees must be energetic, positive and professional individuals with exceptional skills. Please apply if you enjoy working in fast-paced and upbeat environment, working with children, and educating both children and parents. Our practice is fee for service only, we are located in Memorial area of Houston, and we do not accept Medicaid. QUALIFICATIONS *Enjoy working with children. *1-3 years of assisting experience is recommended, but not required. Right candidate can be trained, but experience is preferred. *Strong work ethic *Highest level of professionalism *Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills *Firm commitment to caring for our patients *Quick learner who performs well alongside their team *Detail oriented and able to multi-task HOURS *Monday flexible hours with no patients except for school holidays (we see patients 8-5pm during those), Tues/Wed/Thurs 8-5:00 pm, Fri 8-4:00 pm *There will be an occasional Monday where we work so you must be available 5 days a week. Schedule is created 6 months in advance with occasional changes. PAY *Negotiable and will be discussed in person upon working interview.
