Darling Dentistry is a small, start-up General Dentistry practice in Bulverde, TX, opened in July 2022; our mission is to cohesively provide comforting, compassionate, ethical, and quality dental care that helps patients overcome dental fear and improves their overall wellbeing. I started this practice after spending time as an employee dentist and facing struggles and wanting to provide a safe, enjoyable space for patients and team members. As a member of our team you will have a work-life balance: no 40 hour work weeks, zero weekend requirements, never required to work major holidays or the day before/after Christmas or Thanksgiving. We are seeking to hire 2 people: Schedule 1 Tuesdays 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Thursdays 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Every other Wednesday 09:00 AM - 1:00 PM Fridays 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Schedule 2 Tuesdays 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Thursdays 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Both positions have the potential to grow in days/hours as the office and our patient base grows. Every Wednesday may eventually be required instead of every other, so your schedule should allow for this for schedule 1, but it is not required at this time. If you can do some combination of the two schedules please feel free to apply as we can discuss. If you are seeking an average of more than 30 hours a week, this position will not be a fit at this time. REQUIRED for the position: Hands on training in a formal dental assisting program or at least 6 months experience dental assisting Exceptional chairside manner/people skills, with an emphasis on warmness/friendliness, ability to make connections, and receptive to taking direction on specific verbiage Confident taking FMX Attention to detail in following precise instructions Willingness to be cross-trained (if not already trained for front office) and do all associated tasks such as phone calls, scheduling appointments, receiving and entering payments, submitting claims to insurance (we are a lower volume office) Strong work ethic and ability to take initiative Ability to accept constructive criticism and adapt to changes Positive attitude and willingness to learn Courteous, kind communication with patients and team Flexibility in job tasks Consistent timeliness, professionalism, and integrity Strict adherence to health and safety protocols Impeccable infection control and sterilization procedures Contributing team player Excellent record-keeping CPR (BLS) Certification Texas RDA license Background Check Complete series of COVID-19 vaccinations as recommended by the CDC (Exemptions made as required by law for those “who objects to such vaccination for any reason of personal conscience, based on a religious belief, or for medical reasons, including prior recovery from COVID-19.” 46 Tex.
