Full-Time and/or Part-Time Dental Hygienist A family owned dental practice with a positive, friendly environment is looking to hire a full-time and/or part-time dental hygienist. The office is open Monday through Thursday. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Maintain a positive work environment with excellent customer service * Complete dental prophylaxis & oral cancer screenings * Administer local anesthetic agents when needed * Take X-rays utilizing digital X-ray equipment * Effectively communicate findings of oral exam with dentist * Educate patients on the importance of proper dental care and maintenance * Review dental charts in Dentrix Ascend and make necessary notes * Review patient medications and assess appointment needs * Prepare treatment rooms * Maintenance and sterilization of instruments for dental hygiene treatment * Stock hygiene rooms with proper supplies * Contributes to team effort and goals of the office Qualifications: * Dental Hygiene State License * CPR Certification
