Description

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Desk Assistant to join our dental team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient front office experience. If you have strong communication skills, excellent multitasking abilities, and a passion for patient care, we encourage you to apply! Key Responsibilities: Patient Scheduling & Coordination: Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments while optimizing the daily schedule. Insurance & Billing Support: Assist with completing insurance claims and other necessary forms. 1. Patient Interaction: Greet and check in patients, determine the purpose of their visit, and direct them to the appropriate staff. 2. Correspondence & Record Management: Send and receive correspondence, medical records, and lab results via mail, email, or fax. 3. Message & Document Routing: Receive and distribute messages, lab results, and important documents to the appropriate personnel. 4. Patient Intake & Documentation: Conduct patient interviews to gather necessary information for forms, case histories, and insurance documentation. 5. Office Technology & Software Use: Operate office equipment, including voicemail systems, and utilize software such as Eaglesoft, Instagram, Facebook, 6. Word, and Excel to prepare reports, invoices, financial statements, and patient records. 7. Administrative & Clerical Support: Order and manage office supplies inventory, ensuring smooth daily operations. 8. Transcription & Data Entry: Accurately transcribe recorded messages or practitioners' diagnoses into patient records. 9. Charting & Documentation: Compile and maintain patient charts, reports, and correspondence using a personal computer. 10. Medical Record Maintenance: Organize and maintain patient records, technical libraries, and office files while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
