About us Our goal is to offer comprehensive dental care for the whole family. Duties: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing - Take and develop dental x-rays - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix and Dexis dental practice management systems - Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care Requirements: - Valid Dental Hygienist license in Missouri - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program - Proficiency in medical coding and billing procedures - Experience with Dentrix, Epic, Eaglesoft, or other dental practice management systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures - Ability to work well in a team environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 per week Rotating weeks of Monday -Thursday and then Tuesday -Friday. This allows for a 4 day weekend every other week.
